Family outing or outing for two:Each situation has its own solution!

Originally, kayaking and canoeing came from two different continents!
We've kept only the names: kayak for the single-seater and canoe for the 2-3 person models. These are boats in which you sit on top (sit-on-top) with a double paddle for ease of use.

For 2 people

For a parent and child, a two-seater canoe remains a safe bet.

Looking for a bit of a challenge with your teenager?
Opt for two individual kayaks and set off to explore the Chassezac Gorges, each at your own pace.

For 3 people

The ideal composition (2 adults + 1 child under 10 years old, or 1 adult + 2 young children) perfectly matches the 2-seater canoe with option 3rd instead.
If your child is over 10 years old, opt for a mixed crew: a two-seater canoe combined with a single kayak.

For 4 people

The most common setup? Two two-person canoes. A flexible option that allows you to change partners along the way… and why not organize a little race: kids versus parents!

Sports enthusiasts can also choose a dynamic crew consisting of a 2-seater canoe and two individual kayaks to vary the fun.

With his dog

If you're paddling with your dog, a two-person canoe is the most comfortable option: your companion can sit in the center of the boat. It's also possible to take a dog in a single kayak, but space will be more limited.

We recommend avoiding large dogs; small and medium-sized dogs are better suited to this type of outing.
